What`s this?  "Love Me Tender" was certainly NOT the first
hit Elvis had.  His first big hit was "Jailhouse Rock".
I say big because, like many performers, I`m sure he had
some regional hits before he had a nationwide smash.
I`m not that big on Elvis trivia, but I am sure about "Love
Me Tender".  Also, he had the only double-sided #1 single
with "Don`t Be Cruel/Hound Dog".
