Has everyone forgotten 'Heartbreak Hotel'?  I was sitting in a bar
in Kansas the first time I heard Elvis do anything.  The guy with me
had gone to school with Elvis and had bummed around with him for
several years.  As soon as we found out who was singing, ole Irby
got on the phone that minute and called Elvis to see if it was the
same guy singing.  It was.  He talked to ole Elvis for about 20
minutes.  Of course, this was before fame and fortune and
unlisted telephones.
