It seemed to take forever, but now (I guess) it's doing fine. The little tree is about ten inches high, and it has a cluster of leaves at the top. I have it in a six-inch pot, on a table on my porch where it gets morning sun. My question is, what special care does an avocado tree require? I've heard that they can become tall and spindly; can that be prevented? How often should it be fed? Any information will be greatly appreciated.
