Lines: 13 I thoroughly agree with W3IKG and others who have noted that CW is the most effective way to get through in an emergency when one has limited equipment, minimum power, and perhaps a fair amount of QRN, QSB, QRN and what have you to go with it. Lets face it, the reason the FCC (and appropriate organizations in other countries) have given us the spectrum space they have is because hams are a national resource and can provide emergency communications. In addition, when the conditions are against you in an emergency, you need all the help you can get, which includes a mode of transmission that can get through best and that usually is CW.
