If certain subjects really inundate us, I suppose they could be set up as a separate mailing list. I am personally glad to have the ARRL bulletins here as I don't often take the time to copy them on the air, and they usually are of interest at least for further dissemination to our local club. As for scanners, they are a subject of interest to some hams, so I vote for scanner info (product info) to be on the net. As for lists of frequencies in general, I would think that would not be of general interest, but I believe the info was put on the net in response to a specific request. Presumably this info flow will eventually subside and thereafter can be obtained from archives. By the way, I would find it useful to see a little tutorial on how to access the archives. Could somebody provide one, with the most useful 'cookbook' commands and a pointer to any supporting manuals (I believe 'anonymous FTP' or something was mentioned) ? 'Twould be appreciated. -de W3IKG
