Message-ID: <147@cbosgd.UUCP> Date: Fri, 20-Jul-84 18:18:15 EDT Article-I.D.: cbosgd.147 Posted: Fri Jul 20 18:18:15 1984 Date-Received: Sun, 22-Jul-84 03:19:19 EDT References: <330@alberta.UUCP> <128@ucsbcsl.UUCP> Organization: AT&T Bell Laboratories, Columbus Lines: 15 The main advantage to the current Wyse (75, I think) terminal is that the display is INCREDIBLY easy to read - the font is very large and crisp - much better than any terminal I've ever seen (even HP) and comparable to the Sun workstation in standalone mode. I haven't noticed any problems with ESC or CTRL layout, but I'm not using one daily and don't have one in front of me now to check. If you're looking for an inexpensive ($500 or so) terminal with all the important vi features, the Wyse and the Liberty Freedom are both said to be excellent. Among the others you should look at are: (3) the Teletype 5410 (4) the Falco something-or-other (5) The Zenith Z19 (aka Heathkit H19)
