(I apologize for the cleanness of these, especially in the light
of the clever limericks from ...!ucla-cs!reiher.  It probably
reflects the difference between California and Virginia.  In-
cidentally, more dictionaries than not give  guru  with the accent
on the second syllable -- or used to, anyway.)
