I'm expecting my first child in a couple of months, and seek
recommendations on baby care books.  I'm interested in information
on both physical care and on emotional issues.

I'm not interested in behind-the-times pediatricians giving
condescending advice, but I need lots of practical information.

I've heard of one book titled "Living with Your New Baby" by
Rubin and ? but haven't seen it in local stores.  Anyone know
anything about this one?

On a related subject, a friend just lent me a copy of a quarterly
publication "Mothering."  Very interesting and much different
from other baby/parenting magazines I've seen.
