This is a rather unlikely question, but I must ask it: does anyone know
of a mechanized or semi-mechanized converter for PL/S to C?  The
languages are at approximately the same level, so it's not impossible
to imagine that it's already been done (perhaps somewhere in the Bell
universe?).  Please mail responses directly to me, not to the entire
list.
