CS Dept. Lines: 21 As one of their writers, I hesitated to laud the mag for fear of conflict of interest. Now that someone else has endorsed it, I can boost it a bit. OP is special in that it is THE place to hunt for stuff you've never heard of but might like. A not for those of you who are engaged in the production of your own music independently: You should also check into OP as a place to advertise and sell, or to find distributors for your work. I've always been surprised at the response my ads draw. I guess it's easy to actually begin to believe that there isn't life beyone AOR NooWaiv.... Although OP will stop publishing as of the Z issue, it *will* continue in some form. There's a gathering at Evergreen College next week to decide on a plan of action, and a similar meeting to be held the day after New Music America in Hartford. John Foster, Dana Squires, and Dave Rauh just never expected OP to be as monumental job as it is. They have their OWN work toget on with. Thanks for the boost. I'll pass it along to John.
