This is extracted from replies and followups to net.med. Results: Ten replies in favor of the shots, one unfavorable, two uncommitted, and one person who swears that vitamin C is the answer. I started the shots two weeks ago, and I'm happy to report that I've had no problems with them. They started me on a very small dose of weeds, grasses, and trees, and a somewhat larger dose of dusts and molds. I am so badly allergic to some of these substances that I had a systemic reaction to the *scratch tests*, so they're playing it pretty safe. I'll post a followup in September when the weeds come in. The shots should have done some good by then. -- Bob Fishell ihnp4!ihu1g!fish
