I am looking for info on how they usually relate to each other, how control is transfered between them; what is the role of the secondary processor (if any) when the alternate cpu is primary; are there many schemes or do they all follow a pretty standard theory of operations; can you get REAL concurrent user (vs i/o and housekeeping kinds of things) processing on these systems (eg foreground/background). I sent Steve Ciarcia of BYTE a letter but a response in "Ask BYTE" column will take awhile I expect. Are there any other sources that I might pose this very technical question? I ask this question as I have been looking at the Heath-100; The QX-10 with Titan 8088 board; and TRS80-16A. If anyone has specific reference info regarding any of these specific machines I would appreciate it. Richard (Wilkinson.RES_IMS @ HI-MULTICS (612) 542-7788)
