Lines: 13 Atari was NOT sold to Commodore, but to the Ex-Commodore chief, Jack Tramiel. Tramiel bought 75% of the Atari operation, not including the coin-operated game assets or AtariTel. They plunked down $75 million plus $140 million in senior debt and $100 million in subordinate debts to Warner Communications. Warner had bought Atari for $28 million back in '76. I hope Tramiel can make a go of it. That's a lot of chickenfeed they owe Atari. T. C. Wheeler
