Quadtraton is supposed to have almost ready, their Q1 program
which is supposed to run both on MSDOS machines and on UNIX
mainframes.  The claim is that the same commands can be used
on both a pc and a Unix based mainframe.   I hope to get a copy
of it for test purposes and should know more about it in three to
five months.  A colleague of mine swears by XYWRITE as a great
PC editor, but it is not compatible with Unix as Q1
is supposed to be.
