I wonder if the foreign car datum was from
the same survey (circa 1975) that revealed:
"More Republicans than Democrats own double-beds"
foot-noted with:
"That's why there's more Democrats than Republicans."
The article did not mention the percentage of
survey-writers who work with tongue-in-cheek.
