Actually, I try to avoid being a member of the "top 25 users" list every month, since I think that this is a dubious honor (I don't expect to avoid it this month.) On the other hand, I do most of my non-technical reading and writing late in the evening, so it doesn't interfere too much with my work or my personal life. Naturally, if writing comes easy to you, a 40 line (or more) article isn't too time consuming. This recent prolix period in net.motss and net.singles arose because I was interested in the issues and I felt I had something to contribute. This is what I always use as a guide to whether I should say something.
