FREE, tomorrow night:

"Last Year at Marienbad" by Resnais, 1961
Stanford Cubberly Auditorium (Old Education Bldg)
8 pm

This classic film opened new horizons in movie making. Resnais
intricately mixes the past, present, future, and fantasy in a surreal
and mind-expanding presentation.  This is one of my all-time favorite
films.

Advice to first-timers: Don't struggle too much to try to understand the
film--that just gets in the way. Just open your mind and let it pour in.
