We had a full time FM stereo jazz station KADX. Unfortunately, it's Kansas City based owners felt the market was bigger for C&W. Well, sure, but look how many stations you are sharing it with. There is an AM station that kind of popped up to fill in the gaps but I don't remember what it was. It would be nice if they could pull a WHFS and go out and buy up another Country station and turn it back into jazz. For those who don't know WHFS was one of the more progressive stations in D.C. when they got one of these overnight format changes to news/talk. They were dormant for a while and then bought out a 50Kwatt beautiful music station in Annapolis and switched back over night. -Ron
