I have posted to different news groups on other occasions and did not have any lines deleted, so I am suggesting that the line-eater bug may still be present, though intermittent. I rarely put in a "line-eater" line. Instead, my articles start in the first avalable space in the editor (vi(1).) The netnews version we run should appear on the header of this article. -- Harlan B.
