About the discussion about what to put in net.sources:

Perhaps a general message SHOULD NOT be put out, like "Please don't post

irrelevant material to net.sources" in net.general or net.announce.  Even

in the few newsgroups that I read, seems like a significant population is

submitting articles simply to irritate others.  I suspect that a low profile

(who submits crank articles to net.ipx432 - well, actually a few :-)) might

be the best way to go.  I would hate to see net.sources filled up with

discussions of Stonehenge.
