I too have allergies ( I've actually been tested as being severely allergic
to ALL animal dander, what a bummer!) Anyway, we have a $280+ Vitaire air
purifier in our bedroom and it sure makes life alot easier (we don't have any
pets.) I don't know if it would help your sister, but it is a VERY good
air purifier.
