I bought my dogs a pickup truck and canopy with screened windows to ride in. The great thing is that you can use it for other things too! I also have sliding windows between the cab and back. It's great for that extra margin of safety when picking up hitchhikers -- one loud bark in their ear when they first climb in and they're quite docile from then on. Oh yeah -- you *can* cut down on the amount of hair to be shed by moving to a warmer climate or keeping your dog inside alot when it's cold. My malamute refuses to sleep inside in all but the coldest Oregon winter nights though. She likes waking up covered by a light layer of snow. Just remember, your human friends probably aren't perfect either... -- Kim -- uucp: {ucbvax,decvax,ihnp4,allegra,uw-beaver,hplabs}!tektronix!tekig1!kimh CSnet: kimh@tek ARPAnet: kimh.tek@csnet-relay US Mail: Kim Hastings, Lab Instruments Engineering, Tektronix, Inc.
