I am SO glad I decided to watch the xonvention last night.
Mario Cuomo gave one of the best keynote addresses I`ve
ever heard.  He lifted the convention up, and brought
a feeling of "Yes, we can defeat Reagan and we are proud
to be Democrats" to many people who probably were wondering
about the chances in November.  After Mondale`s little
mess-up with Lance, it was just what the convention needed.
The ability to unify is there.  The seed has been planted.
Let`s see how Jackson, Hart and Mondale follow up in the
next couple days.

I bet we`ve not heard the last from Gov. Cuomo.
