He also denounced an election scheduled for November by the leftist government of Nicaragua as "a Soviet-style sham election." ---------------------------- I recall that a few months ago someone posted a prediction that Mr. Reagan would denounce the Nicaraguan election if Reagan did not like the results. Apparently, he is not willing to wait for the results. Can anyone provide the text of the President's remarks on Nicaragua? Also, how are election preparations and campaigning proceeding?
