I played in a club game the other night and came up against some
opponents that played a *very* interesting system.  They said it was a
class "E" system and they only use it in club games.  It is basically a
forcing 1 Club system that has some interesting 2 level openings.  2
Diamonds, Hearts or Spades shows 12 - 16 points, 4 of the suit and at
least 5 Clubs!  An opener of 2 Clubs shows 5 (maybe 6) Clubs, 12 - 16
points and no other 4 card suit outside.  A 1 Club opening shows 17+
points and 1 NT shows 13-16 HCP, balanced.  1 Heart of 1 Spade is up to
16 points, 5 card suit and 4 or less Clubs.  I didn't ask, but I suppose
that 1 Diamond is 4+ Diamonds, 4 or less Clubs and too unbalanced for
1NT.

Anybody seen this system?  How about comments?
