( At the request of kissell@flairvax, I am reposting as this didn't get through 
everywhere. The following info came from some ATT folk who came to tell us about
our forthcoming LAN. We were not sworn to secrecy, as the announcement was due
to be made the next day (6/26). If that happened, I'd like to here about it. )
	
	Look for a big ATT announcement soon. Among the products
coming out is a very interesting looking LAN (Local area network) that we are 
getting here at U. of Pgh., and would-you-believe, an IBM PC compatible 
computer.
	What's the world coming to? Just when IBM starts offering UNIX, Bell
decides to offer MS-DOS.
