Perhaps some of us simply feel no need to go, can't afford the time, feel perfectly secure and happy already, or simply prefer to deal with our problems in a different way. EST is not the be-all and end-all of psychoanalysis (and I use the term very loosely). Is your attitude in the above paragraph what they teach you in EST -- how to be rude and call other people names? That, to me, demonstrates a severe "lack of progress."
