I feel like I've opened a can of worms here. I think Jim C understood
my questions, but obviously JAM (ala sticky keyboard) did not, among
many others. There was never any intention to restrict the discussion
to only "beautiful women."  It just happens that the friends I know
who are afflicted with this malady are in that category.  This disease
also affects "handsome men" and the rest of the world, you and me
included, "Joe and Jill Average."  What stands out, whether the person
in question be male or female, is that the person ADMITS SHE KNOWS
HER MATE IS A JERK, WILL PUBLICALLY STATE HE IS SUCH AND WILL CONTINUE
TO SUFFER THROUGH IT ALL. (And I did ask those forbidden questions -
no, he is not great in bed, nor is he particulary "different" when
they are alone)

The question I thought I posed was "Why?"  It makes no difference if
the person is male or female and I had no intention of starting a
gender war here. I KNOW that the female friend I was speaking of is
NOT a jerk herself, but the guy she lives with IS. Because she happens
to be "beautiful" is only relevant when one compares her with "Jill
Average" (thousands of which I am aquainted), none of which would put
up with this guy's BS. I believe I also stated that someone else
suggested the title of that article because I did not have an answer:
Are Beautiful women insecure? Push it - are handsome men insecure?
This Joe Average wouldn't put up with that bull. Obviously JAM wouldn't
either. I know the Pooh wouldn't (unpaid nonpolitical advertisement)!
So, without attacking each other, does anyone have an answer?
