I quite agree. Being labeled "nice" or a "gentleman" is the kiss of death as far as becoming some woman's SO. What makes "nice" people so unattractive for a really serious relationship to so many women excapes me. I mean, *I'D* like a "nice" person to be my SO, and would voluntarily surrender to the nearest funny farm the moment I started exclusively looking for the female version of "jerks" to date. Oh well, I guess there are masochists and there are sadists and there are us "nice" "gentlemen" misfits. Further interesting observation: Recently, I have been shaving every other day to save wear and tear on my face. Amazingly, the days when it seemed to me that women were more solicitous and agreeable were the days when I didn't shave!
