In the original article about intelligent women, which contained the comment "you can only date so many secretaries, you know" [probably misquoted -- sorry] I think what was bothering the author was a sense of what I call the "culture gap". Our society places executives and secretaries in different social classes, and thus they tend to move in different circles, i.e. belong to different "cultures". It's not so much a question of intelligence (although level of education does have some impact) as it is of what the members of two different social groups have in commmon. -- Jerry: She was one in a million.
