  Yes, I have noticed this. Most of these guys are exactly the jerks we
are talking about. To quote a friend of mine, these guys seem more concerned
about how she will look as an arm ornament than anything else. I do not
understand this. My self-esteem is raised a whole lot more by dating a
woman who is warm and sincere than one who is beautiful. I think something
like "this lady has so much love to give, and she wants to give it to *me*".
Now *that* raises self-esteem.

  The media doesn't decide for everyone. Being a fairly large person myself,
I don't find the Twiggy type very attractive. Don't make such generalizations.
Not all of us guys are jerks, you know! :-) Seriously, the media, in my
opinion, only influence stupid people in this way. Anyone with any intelligence
can see beyond all the surface crap.
