I've had the wild idea of appearing at my date's door and presenting her with one or more flowers. Now, understand that we have not dated much; we have gotten only slightly, if at all, romantic; I don't think either of us is "madly in love" (i.e. excessively infatuated) with the other; but my feelings toward her are still somewhat more than just friendly. We are not at the dozen-long-stemmed-roses stage, obviously.
