Not necessarily.  I know at least two couples who knew each other for some
years, and were good friends, before they ever started dating.	(One of these
couples met when the man was a youth minister and the woman [then a teenage
girl] was in his church youth group.  They didn't start dating until she was
well along in college.	He's 8 years older than she.  And they have one of the
finest marriages I know of.)
