How does one recognize it? I think there is only one true defintion of beauty. Beauty is what you think is beautiful. Of course, this definition changes radically from person to person, but that is one of the wonders of being human. Being around beauty makes me smile and feel good, and when I smile and feel good I know I'm around beautiful things (people or whatever). It usually isn't hard to figure out which person/people/things I consider beautiful. :-) Are men only nice to women they think are "pretty"? -:) :-) Here I've been thinking that men come to me for advice because :-) they felt I could offer some helpful advice, comments, or :-) just plain entertainment. -:) I think it is the more generic case that when someone makes you feel good, you want to make them feel good in return. It is pretty silly for a man to attempt to make someone feel good that they aren't attracted to because it will come across as false. :-) Seriously, why does it seem that someones looks are that :-) important for a relationship? I personaly `tend' not to trust :-) a "beautiful" male because I perceive them to be always looking. :-) I guess this kind of a reverse view of beauty. I think it's more :-) important what's inside the "package" that counts, even though the :-) "packaging" is what's noticed first. Looks is not beauty. Beauty is not skin deep. Beauty is the entire gestalt that is a specific person. Looks is part of that, true, but not all. If you limit yourself to physical attractiveness you aren't talking about beauty, you are talking about pheromenes... chuq -- From a hunting lodge for rich weirdos: Chuq Von Rospach {amd,fortune,hplabs,ihnp4}!nsc!chuqui (408) 733-2600 x242 Every single day, and every word you say, every game you play, every night you stay, I'll be watching you.
