"madly in love" != "excessively infatuated". Don't confuse emotions and
hormones.

Rsk's thought on wildflowers or a single non-red rose are nice. I also like
carnations and daisies. Of course, I'd go for the dozen red roses,
personally, but that is because I'm a hopeless romantic.
