I would have spoken up earlier, but due to certain restrictions, I have had to desist. It doesn't mean, though, that I don't have anything to say on the subject. Trish's article was a perfect example of my earlier observation (check the files a while back) that there are some people of BOTH sexes who don't like the opposite sex and see them not as people like themselves, but as the enemy. For whatever reason. And yet, it is still no excuse for high-handed bigoted statements about the group as a whole. I respect Trish's preference for women, but cannot countenance her broad claim that most men are "macho, chauvinistic [note correct spelling], insensitive assholes." Not all women are men-haters.
