As someone who probably has more right to say bad things about marriage than anyone else on the group all I will say is that marriage happens to be a great institution. I had some REALLY good times while I was married that I would have missed out on otherwise. I have every intention of getting married again (assuming I meet the right person of course-- I'm now worried about that, though) because there is a level of sharing and intimacy available in marriage that can't be found elsewhere. If I was in the same situation as I was, would I get married again? Probably not, because it wasn't right for either of us. But I'm not running around wishing it never happened because there were times when it WAS wonderful.
