I've lived on both coasts. Loved and hated people on both coasts. Seen really bad and really good drivers on both coasts. Smiled and said 'hi' on both coasts; been given the cold shoulder on both coasts. I figured out the difference: at most, there are TRENDS on each coast (certainly surfing is more popular in Marina Del Rey than Boston).
