I mean slime-eating, whining, cling-like-a-leech, neurotics? With a little psychosis thrown in? You now the type 'gee, he seemed like such a nice young man until he shot-gunned everybody at the Alpha-Beta' of psychotic? Got what I have in mind? Good, because I have a little problem..... (background) I was at a S-F club meeting at Purdue, last week, and I was directed toward a young man who seemed to be a walking calendar for Cons. He didn't, however, have the specific info I needed, so I gave him my tel # and name (mistake #1) to call me when he did get info. Well, since then, I have had to come very close to forcibly removing him from my place of work, and last Friday, when I was purusing the local paperback store, I turned around, and noticed he was following me! (he apparently lives ~ 15 miles from the campus, so I wouldn't suspect he just drops in constantly) Well, this #%&$!! is probably one of the most vile creatures extant. After giving me the info I needed for the Cons, he launched into a routine of the most disgusting (we are talking putrid) jokes it has ever been my misfortune to hear. I finally had to tell him point-blank that I *did not* care for that behaviour, and since I'm not supposed to have company at work, would he please leave!! Well, he didn't take a hint, because he showed up the next time I worked that site. I again told him to leave... Now, if this guy was your average, everyday obnoxious creep, I would probably just belt him one the next time he came over; however, as I mentioned before, he has some definitely menacing qualities. I really don't feel like I should have to be threatened by this creep, but there doesn't seem to be an easy way out. And why should *I* have to be the one to give up my right to be where I want to be, and work when I want to work, so some sickie can get his kicks? Well, any answers? Laurie pucc-k:afo
