L. S. Chabot seems to be coming down hard on people who have affairs
without getting deeply emotionally involved with their partners.

What if their partners want it that way? How deeply involved do you
have to be? What if their partners know what's going on and chose to
continue anyway?

I can't believe people who do such things are automatically as bad
as Chabot seems to think.
