  It has been suggested that a good place for meeting women would be a
beauty pageant. Why not stay in town and go to a wet T-shirt contest?
Honestly, what kind of women do you think you're going to meet there?
Even if you do meet someone nice, she'll probably live 100 + miles away!
Doesn't sound like much of a solution.
  I have a better idea. JOIN something! Lots of nice, attractive, warm,
nurturing, single type females involve themselves in community service
volunteer work (ME for one!). Volunteering not your bag? What about
joining a club? Taking a class at a nearby University? 
  Especially clubs/classes that might have a large female concentration,
like a cooking class (women are impressed by men that can cook ya know!).
The student union here at UT even offers a class in massage! (Fringe 
benefits in THAT one!)
Well, the possibilities are endless! Just pick an intrest and join the club!
