I made an assumption (shame on me) that this is the most noticable spot on your road maps, or that those of you who are flying will land there. So, very briefly, if you drive from the south and are on I-5, turn right (east) at Eugene or Salem through the MacKenzie or Santiam Passes (don't remember Hwy.#s). Both of these drop you onto Hwy.20 in a picturesque old western town called SISTERS, then further east to Hwy 97 again. Turn south into Bend and follow the previous directions. ETA: Note that the above two routes take about 2 hours to get from I-5 to Bend. The previously mentioned route from the Portland area, depending on what you drive and how fast, will take 3 - 3.75 hours to get here. Hope this helps. Turn out is expected to be huge, but if you even have a whim, come anyway. We'll just spill over into the neighbor's yard when we overrun mine. Rich
