Somehow, it doesnt seem to work that way.

Noting that this is only my personal observations, but I find it amazing
the <censured> some (I would have liked to use the word most but its
become taboo) women put up with from their SO. I get the distinct impression
they are afraid of admitting a mistake. I am unsure of what phantom fears
they worry about, but they are there. Perhaps peers will frown upon her
for her part in the failure(real or imaginary). Maybe they hope for a return
to better times and blame themselves(partially) for the deteriorating 
relationship and hope that they can work things out if they keep trying. 
Maybe they dont realize that there are better things out there and are 
concerned about things being worse with someone else. I don't know. 
Does anyone have any explanations for this apparent behavior?
