Lines: 23 People may say that it was immoral, wrong, a bad example for Vanessa Williams to pose in the nude. It tarnishes the whole image of Miss America. It's sort of strange. A few years ago it was found out that Miss America had had extensive plastic surgery(to her nose and breast? maybe just her nose?). What kind of image is that? You can spend a lot of money so you look wonderful and get this great honor. Somehow something seems wrong with that also. I think Ms. Williams has been shafted. It's not bad to pose in the nude. I don't think anyone condemned Ruebens's models for doing it. Now posing for Penthouse is not the greatest idea in the world(mainly because as woman you're perpetrating the idea that women are sex objects). But I haven't heard where she ever knew that those photographs would be used in Penthouse. She was under the impression that they would never be used because she hadn't signed a release. I think people are coming down awfully hard on her. But with her talent and looks she shouldn't have too much trouble becoming very successful. sharon badian
