Drive to Bend via Portland? From California??? As well you should go via Hawaii.

(Pay no attention. I'm just jealous. Did this one HAVE to be the weekend at
the end of SIGGRAPH? I'd gladly drive up from Cupertino, but no way from
Minneapolis.) (Sure do miss Bend, though. Havent seen it in years. Are there
really jobs out there now? :-?)
