If a person thinks that all members of the opposite sex are jerks, well,
no, this person isn't going to just attract members of that sex of low
self-esteem -- this person might have many fine qualities (and that's the
neat thing about people, they do have these good features) to which
another person might be attracted, despite whatever negative prejudices
the first person has.  Prejudices can be challenged, and sometimes changed;
it's not always possible, but maybe a little good, or a little changing,
or a little softening of the prejudices is caused by the attempt.
