A fair number of computer professionals are also interested in SF (I know I am, and lots of other CS people I've met are also). There's also Unix cons, DECUS, and I suppose many other conferences, but I imagine SF cons are the best because people who show up are there generally to have a good time, as opposed to doing work-related things. *Sigh* I missed (or will miss) the con with Stephen R.
