(Sorry I'm not giving a synopsis; it's not that necessary anyway.) I finally figured out what was bothering me: There's consideration of what the woman wants re having a child with or without the father being known or present. There's consideration of how the potential father is affected by the woman's statements, feelings, etc., and what the father might want. WHERE THE HELL is the consideration of what the child will want and need?!
