You claim to watch a bit of baseball and you don't hear the boos? Come on, are you deaf? In LA, they have booed Sax on his errors. In Anehiem, they boo Reggie (what makes him immune to the argument). Last year, Atlanta booed Washington. Most players are smart enough to not listen to the crowd when they are doing badly! They know it, and the crowd feels that they should keep reminding them that they are not pleased. I watch baseball to see some action, and if a player is not producing like he should, I will boo him too! Foster is old? Tell that to Phil Niekro! I disagree with you, NY fans are the best and most loyal. The Mets, when they weren't in contention for first last year, still drew very well for a last place team. NY fans are very vocal and are know their sports very well. How do you think someone like Billy Martin keeps surviving (or keeps comming back) to NY! No sir, NY fans love their sports, their teams, and will support them to the end (just ask any Mets fans)! You want stupid fans, look at the Braves fans! Most of them go to the park because it's chic (like in LA) and they never drew any significant number of fans until 1982. I remember going to a game with only 8,000 people in the stands, and this was on a Saturday in 1981! A LOYAL fan of the Mets/Jets/Nets/Islanders: -- Scott A.
