I didn't mean it!  Honest!
Now that I found that some people caught me, I looked at my own posting and
I realized I got all the numbers backwards.  I ment to say 111 games in 1953!
Then while looking at it and all the responses, I remembered that the Yankees
won five-straight (1949-1953) and I should have said 1954!

Sorry!  What do you want from someone who has to work July 4 (as a favor for
someone else!) :->

I think I'll need to get an aluminum bat on an astro-turf field to fend off the
flames!
